The BERG Buddy is equipped with the unique BFR system. BFR stands for Brake, Freewheel and Reverse. With the BFR system, you can brake with the pedals, and can also reverse immediately after stopping.	If you want to have years of fun playing with the BERG Buddy, you can adjust the seat. The seat can be adjusted in three different positions, so you can always reach the pedals.  No tools needed just lift up the seat and move it.	The BERG Buddy has excellent stability thanks to its four wheels, and is also equipped with a swing axle. This allows the front wheels to move slightly up and down to cushion any unevenness in the road.	The BERG Buddy has pneumatic tires, for an extra-smooth and quiet ride. These tires have less rolling resistance for easier pedaling. This means you can go faster! You'll ride with extra comfort on the BERG Buddy.

BFR Sytem

BFR stand for Brake Freewheel.  The unique BERG BFR drive system allows you to pedal forward, brake by simply adding a little bit of back pressure to the pedals come to a stop and then continue forward or backwards. The BFR system will also allow you to coast along without the pedals spinning around and bumping your ankles.  Kettler go karts have a lever that you have to engage manually to freewheel however the pedals will not act as the brake like on the BERG Buddy Go Kart.
